Senior School - Room 12

Welcome back from a well deserved rest over the Christmas break. In front of us lies an exciting year loaded with opportunities, challenges and special events. We have had a great start to the year in room 12 and have shared some useful information about ourselves and have learned heaps about each other and Mr T..
We have 23 students in room 12 this year of which 8 are year sevens and 15 are in year six. It is a great mix and we really appreciate the great example that the year 7 are setting in our room.

It is hat season and we have a strict “NO HAT NO PLAY” policy trough out the school. Drink bottles and sunscreen are essentials. Remember our new note to the office and getting a blue card system to stay in the zone for House points. |

P.E is Athletics this term. Students will be training to ensure personal best performance at our athletics day closer to the end of term. We are looking forward to see who the winning “House” is going to be. |

Our genre for written language is a character sketch. Our focus will be to use lots of descriptive language and exploring new vocabulary to develop our awesome character. Watch this space for some of our most amazing work being published right here. |

Creation studies is Day 6-Creeping things and we are looking forward to some amazing inquiery learning projects. |

The Life Education Mobile classroom was great and enhanced our program and our study of man. We always enjoy seeing Herold after our lessons. |

Mrs. Lui is teaching us Mandarin this year and we are loving it. Mrs. Ellen Wallace teaches Social Studies we learn a lot and it is so much fun. |
